He said the 2x can't be ignored. | Number 6 is just fine - it is NOT a molar solubility problem and therefore the "+2x" term doesn't belong in the Ksp expression in the first place. You just solve for [Pb2+]. Ksp = [Pb2+](0.05)2 and you get [Pb2+] = 0.0068 M. This was all explained at the first part of class on Thursday, 4/5. |
