Accommodations for FINAL EXAMS

You DO have to sign up for your accommodations (extra time) for your Final Exam in a separate part of the online form. So click the acuityscheduling link given below, but then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. There, you will see "Final Exam 1.5x (4.5 hours)" which is what most of you have. A few will have to go with the 2x option.

Because of limited staffing, there are only 2 times you can select: 8:00 AM or 12:30 PM on Tuesday, 5/17... and I need you to select the 8AM time because that will match up with the rest of the class. So the first hour of your extra time is on the front end of the final exam time.

All students that have Official SSD Student Accommodations as documented from the UT SSD office, will need to reserve their exam times via the link below.

Please note - you need to find our class in the listing. I have three classes listed, so make sure you pick the right one and the right amount of extra time (1.5× or 2× as stated in your accommodations letter from the SSD office). Next, you'll choose a time window from the choices. It will be your responsibility to make sure you go to WEL 2.302 at your assigned time and take the exam there in their "reduced distraction" exam room.

You can also just physically go to WEL 2.302 and book your times with the person behind the desk - who is usually Hailey Nunez. Please wear a mask to that office for bookings and on exam day.

If you prefer booking by phone call, the office number there is 512-471-1567.

Very Important! Read This...

You need to book your time so you start at the same time as the rest of the class (9:00am) and then you'll get your extra time (be it 1.5× or 2×) on the backend. If you have a conflict on the backend - like another class or lab, then you will have to book earlier than 9:00am so you finish in time for your conflict time.

To be clear: No SSD student will take the exam later in the day. You HAVE to take the exam at the same time of the whole class or earlier (that's 9:00am or earlier). The Lower Division office (WEL 2.302) will help you find a time that works. They actually open at 7:30am, so you can easily book an earlier time that allows you to finish when the rest of the class does at 9:50am
