Where are the TA's Cubicles for their office hours?

TA office hours are in various Cubicles located downstairs in Welch. The cubicles are assigned letters A-D. Find the TAs in their designated cubicle during their office hours.

Do you know any good tutors that I could hire? I'm willing to pay them.

No. I don't keep up with all the potential tutors out there. And know this... the tutoring "industry" out there is not regulated and you do NOT necessarily get what you pay for. Be careful if you do this. It is best to have a direct recommendation from someone you really know and trust. Your BEST bet is to go to our own TAs for the class. They are free and actually know what is going on.

Can I go to a different room than the one assigned for exams?

No. The rooms have specific totals of students and we count the exams to match the number of students. We cannot have students abitrarily switching rooms. Go to the room that you were assigned.

How do I enter numeric responses into Quest?

Log into Quest. Click on the "Help" menu item. Scroll down and READ.

Do you post your lecture notes online?

No. Lectures are recorded by the College of Natural Sciences and are available to all students. See my link for this on our "Links" page.

Can I attend another section of your class and get credit for my iclicker responses?

No. Your iclicker responses will only work (count towards a grade) in the section of the course in which you are officially registered.

Why don't you use BlackBoard more than you do?

Blackboard annoys me in numerous ways. Everything I want to do in BlackBoard takes too long and generally turns out wrong. I could go on but I won't.
