HA/A- Ratios with given Ka (pseudo titration of HA)

Start... Buffer Zone... Equivalence Point... Overshoot...

The following table is LIKE a titration in that many RATIOS of HA/A- are created during a titation. It is not exactly a titration only because the ratios shown have no dilution effect calculated into the equation. Imagine titrating with little additions of solid NaOH. The volume would stay about the same throughout the titration and you would get close to the results shown in this table. - Dr. McCord
