The first 12 pages of the course packet are just course syllabus information. Please refer to our own syllabus for course related info.
CP - Fundamentals (3.4 Mb) matches up mostly with the first unit on the gchem site. This also has the general chemistry concepts that we assume all students already have. Look through it and study up on things you don't already know. Most of this stuff was drilled into your head via the ALEKS requirement for the course. Pages 13 - 62 in the course packet.
CP - Atomic Theory (4.8 Mb) is the Atomic Theory unit that is what exam 1 is mostly covering. Pages 63 - 109 in the course packet.
CP - Bonding (5.1 Mb) is the unit on Chemical Bonding. Pages 110 - 155 in the course packet.
CP - States (4.1 Mb) is the unit on States of Matter and includes gases and the gas laws, kinetic molecular theory, and intermolecular forces (imfs). This matches up with exam 3 in the course. Pages 156 - 184 in the course packet.
CP - Thermodynamics (2.7 Mb) is the unit on Thermodynamics which will be the content on exam 4. Pages 185 - 227 in the course packet.
CP - Exams (0.48 Mb) is the section that has all of Dr. Laude's exams from Fall 2014. He spread the content over 3 exams instead of 4 so the coverage doesn't exactly match our 4 exam format. The content is the same though. His final exam is also here. Pages 228 - 273 in the course packet.
CP - Supplemental Activities (2.7 Mb) are supplemental activities (really they are problems to answer/solve) for the course divided up by sections within each unit. Pages 274 - 335 in the course packet.
CP - Readiness Assessment Quizzes (0.75 Mb) are the quizzes that students in the TTh sections do as iClicker quizzes on Thursdays with Dr. LaBrake. These are much like the supplemental activities but are more like questions on an exam. Pages 336 - 351 in the course packet.
