LETTER grades have been turned in

I've done all I could to handle all the grading. The "bubbles" were considered and letter grades assigned. Sorry if you didn't get the letter grade you wanted but I MUST go by the exam scores and treat all students in the class with the same stanards. Grades should be viewable later today.

You should be able to find your grades LATER at the Registrar's Web Site

Let me know if there is an OBVIOUS error in your grade. An obvious error is when your overall score is definitely ABOVE the grade break and you didn't get that grade.

Please READ my new FAQs Page Before you EMAIL Me

I've tried to answer most all the questions I have got over the last 2 days. Most students are sending me the SAME questions. - Dr. McCord

Final Exam Scores are now on Quest

Check your score on Quest. If you have a zero showing and you TOOK the exam then email Gayle ASAP and see if she can find the problem. From our end right now it looks like everyone who took the exam has a score.

Withdrawl of Question on FINAL EXAM on Quest

One question was withdrawn and 60 points credited in its place. This helped keep our class average in the 60's.

Final Exam Curve is +5

So add this 5 points to the percentage that Quest gives you for the final exam and THAT's your score. Remember, Quest does NOT add the curve points.

Grade Breaks are now SET 2 points lower than the original Syllabus

Click on the Grading Link above to see the official grade breaks and where you fit in.

Students who were EXEMPTED from the Final

Of COURSE your letter grade will be "adjusted" accordingly in keeping with the new grade breaks. You do NOT need to tell me to readjust - that will automatically happen. So yes, some of you B+ and A- folks have already been bumped up to the next higher grade.

My Office Hours are OVER - use email

This is the time of year when LOTS of students want to "talk" to me. Your talking to me in person is really not the answer. Put your thoughts in a very well drafted email and I'll read it. A reminder that it is your scores on exams and the final that ultimately determine your letter grade. I cannot consider your "need" as part of your grade. Keep all this in mind. This was very plainly stated in the syllabus from day 1.
